SHORT FILM (15:45)
Shot on 16mm, this dusty little fable follows a stranded carpet salesman looking to make a few bucks to fix his van and get back on the road, but not before local hucksters try to take him for a ride. Inspired in part by a my brother’s time selling carpets at the side of the road and my love of magical realism, the short just wrapped up its festival run where it had the honor of being the opening film in not one, but two festivals.
