Mr. Lamoureux hails from North Carolina and is a graduate of UNC, Chapel Hill. After a notable career writing commercials (Goodby, Silverstein & Partners; TBWA/Chiat Day; BBDO; Deutsch), and a brief stint studying filmmaking at UCLA, Mr. Lamoureux began directing. He was quickly recognized by Creativity magazine as “one to watch,” and the following year was featured in the New Directors Showcase at the Cannes Advertising Festival.
He’s since garnered multiple awards for his short-film and commercial efforts, and has worked with some of the world’s leading ad agencies (Wieden+Kennedy; Mother, London; BBDO; Havas) to create hundreds of memorable commercials, and a few dozen that were very forgettable.
Lately, Mr. Lamoureux has been studying and testing emerging technologies to find new and better ways to add value and narrative purpose to his work. He is represented by John Garvey at CAA.
