COMMERCIAL (00:30)
For a campaign all about shrunken heads, I must have been the only director to pitch not shrinking heads. Instead, we created custom oversized wardrobe so when the actor moved their clothing moved with them, then we shrunk the entire actor and stripped him or her into the shot at a scale that had to be determined prior to creating the wardrobe. It was so much more work than shooting the scene normally and just shrinking the head in post, but in addition to looking so much better it was a lot more fun to shoot.
